Program terms

  • Reward. You receive $500 for each landlord you refer who signs a property management agreement with Chelworths. We pay once we have received the landlord's first month's rent.
  • Landlord credit. The landlord you refer receives $500 off their first invoice for leasing or management fees.
  • Eligible referrals. The landlord must be new to Chelworths and own a residential rental property that we agree to manage. If more than one person refers the same landlord, the first referral we receive qualifies.
  • Permission. You confirm that the person you refer knows you are referring them and agrees to be contacted by us.
  • No limit. There is no cap on the number of referrals and rewards do not expire.
  • Self referrals. You cannot refer yourself or a property you own.
  • Licensed real estate professionals. If you hold a real estate license, contact us before referring. Massachusetts rules can require referral payments to licensees to go through their brokerage.
  • Taxes. Rewards are taxable income. We collect a Form W-9 and report payments to the IRS where required, which applies once your rewards total $2,000 or more in a calendar year.
  • Your information. We use your details to run this program and to contact the person you refer. We do not sell personal information.
  • Changes. We may change or end the program. Referrals received before a change keep the terms that applied when we received them.
