What's Covered

Loss of Rent

Receive up to 25 weeks of rent if a tenant defaults, vacates unexpectedly, or in cases of eviction, tenant death, or severe property damage.


  • Tenant Skip (lease break): up to 8 weeks
  • Eviction granted: up to 10 weeks
  • Writ of Possession: up to 12 weeks
  • Tenant death (sole tenancy): up to 12 weeks
  • Tenant murder or suicide: up to 25 weeks
  • Property uninhabitable due to tenant damage: up to 8 weeks
  • Victims of violence: up to 4 weeks


Malicious Damage

Up to $35,000 cover for malicious or intentional damage caused by tenants to the building or its contents (subject to deductible).


Theft or Damage Due to Theft

Up to $15,000 cover for losses resulting from tenant theft or damage during theft.


Eviction & Legal Costs

Up to $5,000 for eviction filing, legal defense, and related court expenses, plus $600 toward sheriff, marshal, or constable fees.


Additional Protections

  • Digital lockbox loss: up to $5,000
  • Damage by service or companion animals: up to $1,000
  • Re-keying of locks after tenancy: up to $400

Eligibility

Landlord Protection Cover is automatically included for all properties managed under our Signature Property Management plan.


Coverage Limit

Protection of up to $3,000 per month, or the rent stated on the active lease (whichever is lower).


Deductible

A deductible of $1,500 per event applies to all malicious damage and theft claims.


Conditions Apply

Coverage is provided in line with policy terms, exclusions, and limitations.
